How to strengthen the crisis preparedness of critical infrastructures — part of World Water Week

Critical infrastructure such as water, wastewater treatment, and electricity faces increasing risks. How can we ensure that these services function despite extreme weather events, cyberattacks, or wars?

On August 25, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, IWASverige, consisting of Svenskt Vatten, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, SEI — Stockholm Environment Institute, and Sweden Water Research, is organizing a workshop during World Water Week in Stockholm.

Participants will gain:

• A comprehensive understanding of the vulnerabilities of critical infrastructures and the strategies available to improve preparedness.
• Actionable insights and best practices drawn from global examples, enabling them to effectively contribute to efforts aimed at strengthening crisis preparedness in their respective regions.
• A new network of colleagues for ongoing collaboration.
