Welcome, Franz!
We are very pleased to welcome Franz Geronimo, postdoctoral researcher from Luleå University of Technology, to the ISWIM team.
Franz will be managing parts of the pilot in Värpinge, together with PhD student Xuekai Jiang from LTH, during the period when our industrial PhD student Ronja Nybom is on parental leave.
Franz holds a PhD from Kongju National University, Republic of Korea, with a focus on selection and design criteria for nature-based stormwater solutions, taking into account physico-chemical and biological aspects.
He is now part of the Water and Wastewater Engineering research group at Luleå University of Technology, where he works closely with the researchers already involved in the ISWIM project. Over the coming year, he will regularly spend time in Lund, dedicating most of his efforts in Värpinge to sampling in both the wetland and the pilot facility.
