The 3rd Swedish Conference on Sewage Sludge Biochar

Following two successful sludge biochar conferences in Malmö, in 2022 and 2024, the third will now take place on 4–5 May 2027, again in Malmö.

We hope to be able to present many of our findings from the various studies linked to the Testbed Ellinge. However, we also wish to bring together all researchers, companies and other stakeholders in the field of sludge pyrolysis and biochar, and we encourage you to submit proposals for presentations at the conference. Study visits

We will also be organising study visits to the pilot project at the Testbed Ellinge and to Aquagreen’s full-scale facilities next door in Denmark, on the day before and after the conference respectively.

All-time high next year?

The 2022 conference brought together 122 people from 14 countries. The 2024 conference brought together 145 people from 17 countries. We hope for an all-time high next year!
