We’re now installing the pilot!
Last week, construction began on the first components of the pilot in Värpinge, as part of the ISWIM project. This means we can now measure and monitor the flow of stormwater entering the stormwater facility.
Peter Rosander, a technician from Luleå University of Technology, was on site in Värpinge to assist with the installation of samplers, flow meters, and control cables at the inlet, the overflow between the pre-sedimentation pond and the wetland, as well as the outlet. The work was carried out together with our doctoral student, Ronja Nybom.
In addition to Peter and Ronja, several people from VA SYD and project manager Carina Svensson were present. The installation of the pilot will continue throughout the autumn, including automation, pumps, installation of biofilters, activated carbon, and the membrane system. So the work goes on!
