Visit at Värpinge wetland from Nacka Municipality
A few weeks ago, colleagues from the Unit for Strategic Climate and Environmental Work at Nacka Municipality came to visit.
It was an engaging meeting with many exciting discussions about the importance and impact of stormwater on society, and the need to continue working on quality alongside quantity.
The visitors were given information about the ISWIM project, the financial support from Formas, and the project partners. They also received a more detailed overview of the stormwater facility and the pilot trials involving various purification solutions and technologies currently under development. Topics such as the catchment area, stormwater’s impact on biodiversity, and the strategic location of the facility on the outskirts of Lund were also discussed.
