Ronja Nybom, our new PhD student

”I look forward to delving deeper into water purification research, testing known methods, and developing new ones", Ronja comments her new job.

Ronja Nybom, a new industrial doctoral student at Sweden Water Research, has a great interest in freshwater, which has led to studies in limnology at Uppsala University and to becoming a water resource management engineer at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering. She has previously worked on research projects on methane emissions from lakes and biological nitrogen removal from wastewater using AnoxKaldnes Cella technology.

At Sweden Water Research, she works on the ISWIM project.

“I look forward to delving deeper into water purification research, testing known methods, and developing new ones. Having the opportunity to collaborate with so many different stakeholders and people with diverse backgrounds across the country is very exciting, it will be fun!” says Ronja.
