Design Sprint for better treatment of CSO Water
The project carried out a design sprint at the beginning of the summer to develop and propose a prototype solution for treating combined sewer overflow (CSO) water.
The first prototype of the pilot solution is now beginning to take shape in collaboration with Novafos and the reference groups of experts, operational staff and stakeholders.
The Design Sprint Method
A design sprint is a method for rapidly solving major challenges, developing ideas, or building and testing a prototype. In ReCircWater, it is being used to develop a new solution for treating combined sewer overflow water. Results from the ReCircWater Sprint
The most important, and most tangible, outcome was that the group developed a concept for a pilot plant and agreed on a solution that met the criteria established in advance. However, participants also highlighted the discussions that led to the result as a valuable outcome in themselves.
