Strong interest as the food industry met the water sector.

The water and wastewater sector met the food industry at last week’s Platta till pixlar thematic meeting. More than 50 participants joined the discussion with Ellen Edefell, Project Manager, and Ola Hansson from WIN Water as they explored the needs and challenges associated with rapid analysis of microbial water quality.

The conversation brought together stakeholders from the water sector, the food industry, research organisations and public authorities. The challenges are not only about developing new analytical methods, but also about how data can be interpreted and translated into practical decision-making. Without a holistic perspective, new analytical techniques will not lead to innovation.
