Interested in sludge pyrolysis and sludge biochar?
Testbed Elleinge has 150 different sludge samples in stock that can be used in various studies. Interested?
Testbed Ellinge offers
- Sludge biochar for testing
- Pyrolysis of sewage sludge, including analyses
- Opportunities for testing co-pyrolysis
VA SYD’s pilot plant at the Ellinge Wastewater Treatment Plant has continuous drying and pyrolysis of sewage sludge, with a capacity of 80 kg of dewatered sludge per hour. It is also possible to dry sludge at one time and pyrolyse it at another. In addition, it is possible to mix other organic material with the dried sludge and co-pyrolyse it. Both drying and pyrolysis can take place at different retention times and temperatures.
Testbed Ellinge has dried and pyrolysed twenty different types of sewage sludge at different retention times and temperatures. The sewage sludge comes from different treatment plants that use different precipitation chemicals for phosphorus removal and have different sludge treatments, e.g. with or without biogas production.
Testbed Ellinge have 150 different sludge samples in stock that can be used in various studies.
